Interview conducted by Arnold Slominski with Robert Hasbany M.D.

May 22, 2021

Over many years of working with Dr. Hasbany I have learned a lot about his medical view points for problems related to physical therapy. Especially about poor balance and consequences of falling. As I was organizing the International Conference for Balance Rehabilitation and Fear of Falling, Dr. Hasbany contributed his medical angle about reasons for lack of balance and how bad posture and stiffness of joints, in elderly patients, can increase risk of falling and lead to increased mortality. Among  them  were: postural changes, medications, and lack of flexibility and strength. I was privileged having him at our event and I’d like to thank him, for sharing his knowledge and over 33 years of experience, he has, in Emergency and Family Medicine, I can utilize in helping my patients to recover quicker.
